The area of the south arm between Pointer's Point
and Dutchman's Bay is well known for
walleye. Slow troll
or drift spinner rigs with crawlers or leeches in the summer
and Trolling crankbaits in the fall will works well for them.
The area is also a good producer of
perch and channel cats.
Shown in the photo to the left is the point at the north-east
end of the bay where I like to jig leadheads for
smallmouth bass.
