This is a good access spot to the south arm of Lake Charlevoix. When the lake freezes this also works
as a good place to head out from and do a little Ice Fishing. You can also use a different entrance point such as Dutchman,s Bay,
a little to the north on the east side of the
South Arm.
This end of the lake
offers good walleye,
and smallmouth thru the summer months, Ice fishing
for perch and walleye in the winter, and a good
steelhead run in the spring.
