Onaway State Park is located on the south east shore of Black Lake
just a few miles north of Onaway on 211. Here a great view of the summer sunset
and sunrise can be enjoyed from a water front site.
Modern bath rooms, showers water, pumping station, and electric hook up are
all part of the perks of Onaway State Park. A picnic area with indoor
pavilion and swim area are also here along with a boat launch, dock
and plenty of parking.
The waters out in front of Onaway State park hold walleye bass and pike
year round. Work the 10 to 15 foot drop line in the early morning and
evening hours for some good walleye action.
