Referred to as Scotty's Landing by the locals, this small bay just south of Kings Point on Burt Lake is a good walleye fishing area. The photo There is a large flats that come up very slowly from 20 to 8 feet coming into the bay from the NE. Start trolling deep for walleye in the daylight and stay in 10 feet or less at night. I often troll this area of with side planners or drift fish with a crawler rig. A gold wire #4 hook and a stick sinker is my choice here. The bit of gold flash does make a difference. Burt Lake does hold some nice walleye, some over 8 pounds I've caught in the past.
