About half way between Wolverine and North White Road there is and Old Railroad Bridge
now part of the snowmobile and bike trail crossing over the Sturgeon River.

There is plenty of parking and vault toilets here with wooden steps and skid to get you down to the river, and a launch platform which makes this a popular spot to start or end a canoe trip.

If your looking to float to Indian River in about half the day,
this is a good place to start. Rafting, kayaking, canoeing or tubing,
you just can't beat the view.
