The number 2 marker is located at the entrance to the Pickerel Lake channel, shown top right. This area of the lake is well know for perch fishing through out the year. It gets very shallow around the marker so you want to stay just to the north at the 8' to 10' break to try your luck. Walleye will also be found in the same area and on the flats north and east of the marker. If you head west by north-west from here you will find the channel around Oden Island and west Crooked Lake.
