The entrance to the Crooked River Locks coming from Crooked Lake is shown in the top photos.
Here the bottom here has been dredged to about 8 ft in the channel
and has been filled with rocks to control erosion. The rock
bottom makes a good home for smaller fish and crustaceans that
the game fish like to eat making this a good shore fishing area.
Minnows work well early in the season on walleye here.
This can also be a very busy spot for boaters on a summer weekend
