As you enter the channel from Big Africa Lake into Record Lake stay to the right, south side around the dead trees shown above. It will stay about 3 foot as you avoid the stumps on your way through. The rocky shorline on the north side offers a good fishing area to jig. Look for the Osprey nest on the lake's only Island. You can just see a chick peaking it's head out in the photo below.
