FEMALE NORTHERN BLUEGILL
Sides are somewhat lighter than the male and the breast is yellowish rather than copper colored.
SPAWNING MALE NORTHERN BLUEGILL Overall coloration darkens and copper color on breast becomes intense. Hump ahead of dorsal fin becomes more noticeable.
