Hello fish lovers, Hamlin lake has been producing this year, before and after the flood. We are no longer an island resort, thank God. I am just starting to forget the nervous nights of rising water, and starting to think about great fishing. The water has cleared up considerably, not quite normal yet, but close. The folks at the reort have been bringing back loads of bluegills, pike and a few walleye for good measure. The bluegills have been very nice, reminding me of years past. Walleyes have been hitting crawler harnesses in lower Hamlin. Lake michigan is also producing salmon in the top 70 feet of water, 80-130 feet deep. Lets hope for some great weather to help the fishing experience. We have some openings at the end of july and a few in August if you still need a place to spend some time this summer. The free kayaks, bass boats and bikes have been very popular. Come on up and catch some fish, have fun, Bill
