PACKING for CANOEING
When it's that time of year and things warm up
you may decide to try canoeing for the first time.
Two things to remember when packing, everything water tight,
and everything tied down.
I like to use an insulated lunch pack to hold my valuables
during the trip. They remain fairly water tight when zipped,
and the insulation helps pad the inside from shock and keeps
things cool. Important to me because I always take a camera.
Some of the must pack items on my list are, combination
bug repellent and sunscreen, first aid kit, waterproof matches and paraffin
fire starter, towel, neoprene shoes and jacket, elastic tie down
cords, plastic bags, spare shirt, camera, map, compass, water, and lots of snacks.
