*The Lewiston True Value Hardware in downtown is open till 8:00 PM Friday & Saturday.
THE SUN HAS SET ON WINTER.
Our second work weekend is set for APRIL 18 & 19. We will meet at the Villager across from the Tru Value Hardware at 7:00 AM. Saturday we will begin reset and maintenance of signs at the bottom of Granholm Hill and work South to 608/Miller Rd and 489N at Red Oak. Sunday we will work on Gate and Bridge repair and set a few of our new sign boards.
Please remember your trail system through out the State of Michigan is entirely groomed, signed, and brushed by volunteers. Our groomers are housed, operated and 100% maintained by Lewiston Sand and Gravel. The May family continues to give back to our community again and again.
Please never pass a moving groomer.

**The Lewiston Fun Ones Groom in 4 counties. They are SW Montmorency, NW Oscoda, NE Crawford and SE Otsego. This includes Albert, Greenwood, Elmer Lovells, and Charlton Townships. The only surviving timber town in the lower.
Trail number specific:
Montmorency County Albert Township Trail 448, 448, 429 ALL. Trail 9 & 4 from the north side of Avery Lake to the county Line to Soden Rd.
Oscoda County Green wood and Elmer Townships. Trail 4 & 9 from Soden Rd and Granholm Rd to Muskrat Lake and Red Oak then Trail 4 to its intersection with trail 409 at the Crawford County Line. Also trail 429 toward Lewiston. We also groom trail 9 from the staging area at 608/489/Miller Rd/Red Oak Rd. to trail 409 north to trail 4 near the Crawford County Line.
Crawford County Lovells Township all of trail 409 and trail 4throughout the county. We also groom trail 47 only to the old staging area north of County Rd F-97.
Otsego County trail 4 from the Crawford County line to trail 404 near Old State Rd then trail 404 to trail 448 near the Bear Lakes and all of trail 448 near to Vienna at Meridian Rd.
PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A DISCREPANCY IN THE TRAIL NUMBERS. The MDNR map shows trail 429 south west of Lewiston the Gaylord map shows it as 4&9, the Grayling map shows yet another number and we have it assigned its original number 449. It is only a 4-5 mile connector and may become confusing to first time riders. Next year we will resign it 429 and advise others.
*.Be safe take the ZERO TOLERANCE pledge. Please never pass a moving
groomer.
