January 15, 2025 Cold and Snowy
The past 48 hours has brought some decent Lake Effect snow to the western lower and northern U.P.
8 to 16 inches in the northwest lower and similar amounts in the U.P. The cold temps has most all the wet spots
frozen and groomers have been keeping running. Best snow in the lower is the NW corner and in the U.P. from the Soo to Marquette
and the far western end. A slight warm up Thurs-Friday with highs in the mis 30's shouldn't do much damage.
We have some arctic air moving in Sunday into next week with single digit highs so the snow will stick around
with more in the forecast.
