As you head north east from Mosquito Beach you come to the area known as
Pictured Rocks and one of the most memeroble views on Lake Superior. The top
photos show the view as you approach the formation from the southern side.
You can see the shallow rock reef that blocks passage to all but kayakers.

I came in around the north side,
shown above right and below, for lunch in the shade that day.
