The Drummond Island ferry operates 365 days, with runs at least hourly from
early morning, 5-6am, to late evening 1-2am. Although there is a ferry
schedule posted on both ferry docks, in times of heavy traffic the ferry
will run continually back and forth. Two ferries are sometimes used during this time.
The car ferry can accommodate large loads, up to and including modular homes.
The winter ferry schedule is in effect January 1 through March 31.
During this time, the ferry does not run from late night until early morning.
There are numerous runs throughout the day and special runs can be arranged.
