Our last day turned out to be a beautiful sunny gem. First stop
was Munising Pro Sports. The owner made quick work getting Kevin some parts he needed and
suggested we try out the new F-8 sitting outside. We took him up on it and took
the 800 Renegade along to keep up. The trails were nice and hard and since the F-8 had the same
feel as the Jag and we felt very familiar fast. We took it off the trail into
some heavier snow to break it in a bit while we enjoyed the back woods.
It's lighter than the Jag and you noticed the difference in the
softer snow. All in all it was very quick and very stable.
We found a long straight back road with open fields on both sides for vision.
Side by side from a 20 roll the 800 Renegade would get a two or three sled
jump but they were about as even as it gets from there on. We figured the quick jump
to be the better bite of the long track. Top end the cat
may pass it, but we shut down in the 90's. Both are great machines for what they
are designed for. A bit beat up from the past five days on the trail we headed back
that afternoon ready to pack it up. We would like to thank everyone that helped make
our trip possible and enjoyable. Until next time, Have Fun. Ride Safe!
