The weather held out our final day and we took the boat
out one last time before loading it on the trailer. We checked out the old dam that
keeps the water up and starts the Michigamme river where Slammer stretched his legs.
Cold rain was moving in the next morning, snow was predicted for the weekend
and I like to go when the getting is good. After a few hours on the water we
headed for the ramp and packed her in. We had a great time, one to remember and the
colors were fantastic.
