It was a hot one for this years Freedom Festival and Saturday, the
big day, was sweltering. It was well into the 90's with very little wind
and humid as they come. Neila and I put in at the
East Jordan Public Launch
and headed up Lake Charlevoix's South Arm about 9:30 that morning.
I was just to hot to be anywhere but on the water and it looked like
that was where everyone was. We took a nice cruise out to Lake Michigan
through Charlevoix keeping a steady breeze in out face to stay cool.
From kayaks and jet skis to large cruisers and sail boats, today was made for them all!
